The Umbracle is an outdoor vantage point from which the entire Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex can be seen.
FLYING BUTTRESS WALKWAY
Parking area
Located below the Umbracle’s gardened walkway is the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències parking area, which can hold up to 661 vehicles and 25 buses distributed over two levels.
Because of its large surface area, this space is able to host any type of event, especially film shoots and vehicle exhibitions, as well as panel-poster exhibitions.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Umbracle gardens
This is a beautiful outdoor space measuring 320 m² and located to the south of the complex, above the parking area.
Being an outdoor area, in the event of bad weather we guarantee relocation to another area under the same contractual conditions.
Flying buttress walkway
The Flying Buttress Walkway is a semi-covered space that is 130 m long and has a surface area of 1,586 m².
This space sprawls under a large, arched arcade and is surrounded by the pools of the Museu and Hemisfèric.
Given the large size of this space, there is a wide range of possibilities for your event: product sampling events, stands, product debuts, etc.
Umbracle lookout point terrace
This is a large terrace that overlooks the entire Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex and is adjoining to the Umbracle’s Gardens. It is ideal for dinners, cocktail parties, etc.
Bearing a surface area of 2,810 m2, this is a large walkway that overlooks the entire complex and is adjoining to the Umbracle’s Gardens.
Outdoor events can be undertaken here, as well as events and setups that are complementary to those held in other buildings.
