Event space for rent

The important role of its architecture is thanks to two internationally renowned Spanish architects producing the best of their work here: Santiago Calatrava, with the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, the Hemisfèric, the Museu de les Ciències, the Umbracle and the Àgora; and Felix Candela with the unique covers to the main buildings at the Oceanogràfic.

Images of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències have been used in business launches, photo shoots, feature films, advertising, catalogues, music videos and more, both nationally and internationally, with important firms identifying their products with our image.

Image rights

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències is striking for its architecture and immense capacity for cultural dissemination. It offers numerous settings for all types of productions and outdoor and indoor locations.

Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, S. A. owns the registration of industrial property rights over the image and design of their buildings, and relevant rates will be applied for commercial or advertising purposes. Rates are based on the image used, the use to which it is put and its diffusion.

The end result will need the authorisation of the Events Department of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. This authorization is necessary if the image or product produced within the spaces of CAC, S.A. is to be shown publically.

The request for use of images should be made in writing via the following email: actosyeventos@cac.es.

Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, C.A.C., S.A. is the owner of the industrial property registration rights, on the image and design of its buildings, so in the case of its use for advertising or commercial purpose, the current rates will havet to be paid.

Sponsorship

Guided tours

Sightseeing walking tour

A pleasant route full of curious and interesting features, where spectacular panoramic views can be enjoyed. Enjoy a tour full of curious features in which you will be able to contemplate spectacular panoramic views.

In a visit principally for exteriors, you will accede to areas closed to general public access in a visit to outdoor spaces and you will be able to know the work of two magnificent architects: Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela.

The information of this so special complex it’s something you will still find surprising during the half hour visit. Our guide can be carried out in Spanish (Check availability in other languages) the architecture of six buildings of the City of the Arts and the Sciences, which extends along an axis of two kilometres and has a surface of 350.000 m2. Located in the bed of the River Turia, don’t miss your opportunity to know more about this unique place.

Architectural visits

The significant part placed by architecture has been possible thanks to the outstanding work of two Spanish architects of international prestige:

Santiago Calatrava with the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Opera House), Hemisfèric (Imax and Full Dome), Science Museum, Umbracle, (Promenade and Car Park), and the Agora, and Félix Candela with the striking roofs of the main buildings of the Oceanográfico (Aquarium).

Another possibility that has the City of Arts and Sciences is to discover through an architect, who will explain to visitors from the beginning of the project to the final of construction, from the viewpoint of architecture.

You can choose from two itineraries:

Route 1: will explain the Science Museum, Ágora, Hemisfèric, Umbracle and Palau buildings.

Route 2: will explain the Science Museum, Ágora, Hemisfèric, Umbracle and Oceanogràfic (Aquarium).

The duration of the visit is 2 hours and may be in Spanish or Valencian. Check availability in other languages.

Gift card and company bonuses

With the “gift card” you can build loyalty to your customers, suppliers or workers, as well as through “company bonuses”.

Valid for one admission ticket to the Hemisfèric + Museu de les Ciències + Oceanogràfic, for one and for two or three consecutive days, without being able to visit the same building several times on different days.

Or for one admission ticket to the Hemisfèric + Museu de les Ciències, for one and for two consecutive days, without being able to visit the same building several times on different days.

This card allows for direct access to the Museu de les Ciències and to the Oceanogràfic. To access the Hemisfèric, you must use your gift card to claim your ticket at any Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències ticket office (subject to seat availability).
