LECTURE AND ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATION. STAR CLUSTERS, THE TRIBES OF GALAXIES
Star clusters, groups of stars that were born simultaneously in the same place and remain together for a variety of reasons, represent some of the most intriguing objects in our galaxy. Studying them gives us a deeper understanding of the nature and evolution of both stars and our own galaxy.
In this talk, we will explore the history of our knowledge about star clusters, their main characteristics and the fascinating unanswered questions we face today. In addition, weather permitting, at the end of the lecture, we will have the opportunity to observe with telescopes in the Umbracle Astronomy Garden.
Don’t miss it!
