On this website, CACSA provides information and tools that enable you to communicate with the company. You will find information on our activities, tickets and scheduled events. Despite the care taken to prepare the website, there may be few inaccuracies or errata.
Some of the applications on the website are designed to entertain children. All these are for free. Children should access and use them under the supervision and guidance of the user. You state that you are solely liable for the use made of the applications on this website by the children under your supervision. The games found on this website are intended to contribute to the mental development of children and youth. They do not contain messages that are contrary to law, incite to violence or criminal activity or any form of discrimination. There is no adult content and they do not incite to the purchase of the services and products of CACSA
Even so, CACSA does not recommend prolonged exposure to the games. You hold CACSA free of any liability for a breach of the above recommendations.
GENERAL TERMS OF USE OF THE PORTAL WWW.CAC.ES WEBSITE
The following General Terms of Use govern the access and use of the www.cac.es website.
CACSA reserves the right to deny access to www.cac.es without prior warning in the event of a breach of all or any part of these General Terms of Use on the part of the user.
Access to the www.cac.es website is free of charge and no prior registration is necessary. However, to use some services you will have to complete the corresponding forms in full and accept the website’s terms of use for each service. You specifically state, with no reservations, that you access and use this website under your sole liability.
1. User’s Obligations
You undertake to make adequate use of the content, services and applications on www.cac.es, by law and these General Terms of Use, and to respect other users of this website.
By accepting to these General Terms of use, you specifically undertake not to:

You shall be held liable for any damages of any nature caused to CACSA or a third party due to a breach on your part of the obligations to which you are bound hereunder or by the law, in relation to the access and/or use of the www.cac.es website.
CACSA shall adopt any measures within its power to prevent conduct that is contrary to Spanish legislation. CACSA will cooperate with the competent authorities in the identification of the individuals responsible for actions that may be a violation of laws applying to this website.
2. Intellectual property rights over the www.cac.es website.
CACSA is the owner or licensee of the information on this website, its graphic design, images, databases, indexes, source codes, brand names and logos, which are protected under the Law of Intellectual and Industrial Property. Use of the website shall not imply a transfer of ownership or right of use to the user. Therefore, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute or market all or any part of this website without prior written authorisation by CACSA
To prevent any similarities between the ideas developed by CACSA and those sent by the users, CACSA has a policy of not accepting creative materials, ideas or suggestions unless it has requested them specifically.

We may make links in the form of hypertext, banners, buttons, directories and other search tools available so our users can access websites other than www.cac.es or third party websites (from now on referred to as “links”). The purpose of said links is only to facilitate your access to the information provided by third parties. It does not imply that CACSA necessarily promotes, endorses, guarantees or recommends such websites. We encourage our users to evaluate the security and trustworthiness of other sites linked to this site or accessed from the website. CACSA shall not be held liable for any information, data, files, products, services or material on the websites linked to said websites.
Creating links to the www.cac.es website requires the prior written authorisation of the owners of the website.

4. Limitation of liability
The www.cac.es website is designed in good faith and contains information from internal and external sources.
CACSA shall not be held liable for damage, loss, claims or expense caused by:
- 1. Interferences, interruptions, failures, omissions, delays, blockings or disconnection caused by errors in telecommunication lines and networks or by any other cause beyond the control of CACSA
- 2. Illegitimate interference via the use of malignant programmes of any type and any method of communication, such as computer viruses and so forth.
- 3. Undue or inadequate use of the www.cac.es website.
- 4. Security or navigation errors caused by malfunction of the browser or the use of outdated versions.
5. Services provided by CACSA via the website
5.1. Club pass of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències
To be a member of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències Club, you must buy a Club Pass “La Ciutat” that allows you access to the Museu de les Ciències, the Hemisfèric and the Oceanogràfic, until December 31st of the current year. The Oceanogràfic Club pass allows you access to this building until December 31 of the current year. The CienciAmics Club pass allows you access to the Museu de les Ciències and the Hemisfèric for 365 days from the date of purchase.
On the website www.cac.es/club you can see the contract you must sign in order to be aware of the data you will provide to CAC, S.A. if you finally decide to buy a Club pass in any of its modalities. The membership contract will be formalized at any of the Club’s ticket offices that are located in the Oceanogràfic and in the Museu de les Ciències, by signing the contract and buying a Club pass.
The price of the Club pass will depend on the age of the user, and the modality of the pass (La Ciutat, Oceanogràfic or CienciAmics). The prices of the Club pass will be those that appear on the website at any time.
These conditions must be complemented by the specific conditions of club members, published on the page www.cac.es/club.
5.2. Purchasing tickets online
You can purchase tickets to the Arts and Science Centre (Oceanogràfic, Science Museum and Hemisfèric) online on the www.cac.es/entradas website. The tickets available are published on the website.
The CACSA website shows the price of the tickets for each date and other specific circumstances.
The purchase of tickets and the rights and obligations of the users when purchasing the tickets and afterwards are subject to the General Terms of Use, the relevant Ticketing Terms, and the Business Rules of CACSA These are available to users at the Customer Care services of CACSA You will be given the information upon request.
6. Protection of personal data
You will find our policy for processing personal data in the PRIVACY POLICY. The document is an integral part of these General Terms of Use but we have put it in a separate document for the sake of simplifying.
7.Cookies Policy
7.1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are files that contain small amounts of information that are downloaded on your computer when you visit a website. Cookies recognise you when you access www.cac.es and enable us to improve the quality of the website and your user experience.

9. Applicable legislation and jurisdiction
The applicable legislation shall be Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, by which the amended text of the General Law on Consumers and Users, and other complementary laws.
10. Invalid or unenforceable clauses
If any of the terms in these General Terms of Use are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms. The remaining terms of the General Terms of Use will continue to apply, providing said provision is not essential to the General Terms of Use, in which case none of them would apply.
