Accesibilidad Oceanogràfic

ACCESSIBILITY OCEANOGRÀFIC

The Oceanogràfic is designed to be accessible to everyone, facilitating access and mobility for visitors with disabilities or functional diversity. Below, we explain the accessibility features we offer:

    • Information panels: we have panels with pictograms and short texts indicating spaces and itineraries.
    • Reception: counters adapted to a height of 90 cm for preferential attention. The information point on the ground floor of the entrance building has an accessible route.
    • Toilets: they have lower and upper free strips on the cabin door, but do not have a visual free/occupied system.
    • Lifts: spacious and adapted lifts, with sound and visual information. Buttons in high relief and Braille.
    • Shop: there is no visual signage on spaces and itineraries. Dressing rooms have a curtain.
    • Parking: we have 20 adapted parking spaces in the car park, 10 on floor -1 and 10 on floor -2, signposted vertically and horizontally. There is level access to the adapted lifts.
    • Access to the park: the main entrance is on Calle Eduardo Primo Yufera, 1B. Level-free entrances with homogeneous, non-slip paving. The turnstiles have adapted steps and there are always staff on duty.
    • Reception: counters adapted to a height of 90 cm and preferential attention for people with reduced mobility.
    • Interior mobility: accessible routes between buildings and floors by lifts. Homogeneous, non-slip flooring.
    • Toilets: adapted toilets with sliding doors (width greater than or equal to 78 cm) and free turning space of 150 cm in diameter. They have folding support bars on the right side and accessible washbasins without pedestal.
    • Lifts: large, adapted cabins with visual and audible information and buttons in Braille and high relief.
    • Screening room: accessible route by adapted lift or ramp. Seats reserved for people with reduced mobility in the last row.
    • Cafeterias and restaurants: level access through permanently opening doors and accessible route between floors by lifts.
    • Shops: entrance without a difference in level and obstacle-free access.
    • Access to the park: main entrance with high-contrast visual signage. Homogeneous, non-slip paving. Staff always present to assist visitors.
    • Reception: obstacle-free itinerary and accessible counters. Homogeneous lighting.
    • Indoor mobility: eyebrow-free flooring and high-contrast signage. Glass doors with contrasting signage and uniform lighting.
    • Toilets: signposted with approved pictograms and chromatic contrast. Homogeneous lighting.
    • Lifts: buttons in Braille and high relief, with audio and visual information.
      Projection room: accessible route via stairs and lift. Permanently open double doors. Corridors and steps with illuminated signs.
    • Cafeterias and restaurants: accessible and obstacle-free itinerary, with homogeneous, non-slip flooring.
    • Shops: access without unevenness and non-slip flooring.
