REI JAUME I PRIZES

Admission-free exhibition presenting the winners of the latest King Jaume I awards.

 

The awards are granted by the Rei Jaume I Awards Foundation, established by the Generalitat Valenciana and the Valencian Foundation for Advanced Studies to consolidate and promote the awards.

 

The Rey Jaime I Prizes were created in 1989 to foster collaboration in studies and research between various scientific and business entities to promote research and scientific development in Spain.

 

Over the years, the number of awards has increased to a total of 8, of which 7 are currently awarded: Basic Research, Economics, Biomedical Research, Clinical Research and Public Health, Environmental Protection, New Technologies, and Entrepreneur.

 

The Museu de les Ciències is hosting this exhibition which displays the awards and the work which has earned the prizes in each of the categories.
