The Mediterranea exhibition, produced in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, offers a unique view of the Mediterranean, using high-tech images obtained by Italian and European space agencies. The exhibition combines these images with ancient maps and works of art to explore the rich history and cultural significance of this region.

The exhibition examines how the Mediterranean has always been a meeting point for civilisations and cultures throughout history, and highlights its role as a catalyst for cultural diversity. It also addresses contemporary issues such as climate change, sustainable agriculture and plastic pollution.

Divided into three thematic areas, the exhibition traces the history of the Mediterranean, from ancient civilisations to the present day, highlighting its evolution and the challenges it faces. It also offers a detailed look at Mediterranean vegetation and its characteristic fragrance, as well as current environmental issues affecting the region.

The Mediterranea exhibition offers an experience that combines science, art and culture to provide an in-depth understanding of the past, present and future of the Mediterranean.
