Committee of Experts

Expert committee.

Formed by experts from scientific institutions in the Autonomous Community of Valencia, it is the body responsible for providing guidance and contributing ideas for the content of the scientific dissemination complex.

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències Expert Committee meets periodically at the Museu de les Ciències in order to offer guidance and contribute ideas to the content of the scientific dissemination complex. This body thus fulfils its tasks of supervising and providing advice about scientific and current affairs, improving content, new ideas for exhibitions and informative events, among many other proposals.

 

Currently, the Committee is chaired by  the José Luis Rubio Delgado, y los profesores Enrique Alborch, Elena Bendala-Tufanisco, José Bernabeu, Amparo Chiralt, Vicente Conejero, José Duato, José Manuel García Verdugo, José Miguel Láinez, Amparo Latorre, Guillermina López Bendito, Mª Ángeles Marcos, Jorge Olcina, Federico Pallardó,  Eduardo Peris, Javier Quesada, Vicente Rubio.

The Museu de les Ciències works to spread word about scientific projects, figures, discoveries, history, instruments..etc, in short, the science developed within and outside of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, with the ultimate aim of increasing the interest of Valencian society in it, and, consequently increasing the knowledge, appraisal and participation of Valencia´s citizens in science.

Functions of the Expert Committee

    • To offer guidance and supervise content.
    • To create and contribute ideas.
    • To offer advice regarding scientific and current matters.
    • To add scientific rigour to content.
    • To showcase the role science plays in society and promote its defense and knowledge.
