EXPERIMENTA FAIR. XIX EDITION

Since 2014, we have been closely collaborating with the Faculty of Physics at the University of Valencia in organizing the Experimenta Fair, which takes place at the facilities of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.

In 2024, the Faculty of Physics is convening the 19th edition of the Experimenta Fair and Contest, where students from ESO, Bachillerato, Formación Profesional, and middle-grade training cycles will develop experimental STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). These projects will be presented and explained at a festive event open to the public on April 21 at the Museu de les Ciències in Valencia.

The fair aims to actively involve students, fostering the development of essential skills in science and technology, and supporting scientific vocations. The initiative is supported by FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology – Ministry of Science and Innovation) through a competitive project in the Science Fair category, and it collaborates with various public and private entities. Additionally, it has been recognized as a socially beneficial project eligible for sponsorship by the Valencian Government.

The Museum transforms into a large classroom where anyone can learn in a fun way about the functioning of nature. Furthermore, the Outreach Department of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències participates as a jury to evaluate the communication and outreach skills of the teams presenting their respective projects.
