THE CHALLENGE VDS 2024

The Museu de les Ciències joins Startup Valencia to host the fourth edition of The Challenge VDS 2024, a team hackathon that will take place on 15 October. This event, supported by entities such as HP, the Department of Innovation, Valencia Innovation Capital and VDS, will bring together the best technological talent in a space dedicated to innovation.

The main objective of The Challenge VDS 2024 is to promote creativity and problem solving in the university and professional environment, offering participants the opportunity to work on innovative solutions to real challenges presented by large corporations. During the hackathon, multidisciplinary teams will compete in the creation of technological projects that respond to current market needs.

Lasting 12 hours, the teams will use methodologies such as Lean Startup and will be supported by mentors and industry experts. They will also have access to specialised training and will be able to connect with leading companies such as HP, Mapfre, Naturgy, Elewit and Banco Sabadell, among others.

This event is open to both professionals and university students (undergraduate, postgraduate or PhD) from any university, regardless of their previous experience. The best projects will be presented at the València Digital Summit (VDS), where the finalists will present their ideas to a specialised jury. In addition, they will be able to attend an exclusive LinkedIn talk on the most in-demand skills in the job market.
