INSTANTS PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències announces the fifth edition of the INSTANTS photographic contest on the Instagram social network. ‘The science that connects us: 25 years of breakthroughs and possible futures’

In this special edition, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Museu de les Ciències, we invite you to capture images that represent how science has transformed our lives over the last 25 years, celebrating the scientific advances of the past and exploring how these can be projected into the future. Photographs should highlight the connection between scientific progress and everyday aspects of modern life, whether through technology, health, the environment, education or space. All the images must be contextualised in the environment of the Museu de les Ciències, whether in its interiors, exteriors or details of its exhibition content.

The winning images will be highlighted in the INSTANTS exhibition, presented on supports of 2 m x 2 m and enjoying a minimum three-month display.

If you want to be part of this experience, simply follow us on our Instagram account @ciudadartesciencias, tag us in your photos, and use the hashtag #InstantsCAC and #Museu25Aniversari. In addition, the photograph must have a title.

The participation period will start on Wednesday 16 April 2025 at 15:00 (Madrid time) and will end on Wednesday 14 May 2025 at 23:59 (Madrid time).
