Come and discover the importance of light in all areas of our life thanks to “Travelling with Light”, a programme by Planetarium.
“Travelling with Light” tells the importance of light for human life, plants and astronomy. This programme by Planetarium with fulldome video format produced by the “Parque de las Ciencias de Granada” puts us into many scenarios to show the complexity of light and its direct influence on our planet.
The Sun is the closest star to Earth and the energy it generates provides us with the light and heat necessary for life. By studying the light from the Sun and other stars and galaxies, we can make models that explain the origin, structure and evolution of the universe.
But the Sun is not the only source of natural light. Fire has accompanied Earth since its origin and has played a very important role in the evolution of humans; so much so that its discovery by primitive societies changed their way of life. Even artificial light and its uses in medicine or communication exhibit the close relation between humanity, life and light.
