Rei Jaume I Prizes

The Rei Jaume I Prizes began in 1989 in the interest of supporting and encouraging science in Spain. Since then, first the Valencian Foundation for Advanced Studies and later the Rei Jaume I Prizes Foundation, each year makes these awards instituted by the Generalitat Valenciana and underwritten by various companies.

In recent years 6 awards have been given to the best work presented in the following categories: Basic Research; Economics; Medical Research; Environmental Protection; New Technologies and Entrepreneur.

The Museu de les Ciències is hosting this exhibition which displays the awards and the work which has earned the prizes in each of the categories.
