METAMORPHOSIS. THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
.
.
For the first time, a children’s science exhibition explores the fascinating phenomenon of transformations: from changes in nature to personal ones we experience throughout life.
.
Designed for children from 6 and up, Metamorphosis nurtures their natural curiosity and invites them to observe, question and discover. Through immersive, interactive and surprising scenarios, visitors will understand that, as Lavoisier once said, «matter is neiter created or destroyed, only transformed».
.
The exhibition provides a safe and stimulating space for children to learn that changes — although sometimes accompanied by fear or uncertainty — also open the door to new possibilities and learning experiences.

The five thematic areas of the exhibition
.
It is structured into five thematic areas that blend science, imagination and play:
.
- The Enchanted Forest takes children on a journey to the heart of nature, where they will discover the metamorphoses of animals, plants, and magical creatures. Throuh interactice games and fantastic stories, they will see how the seasons transform the forest.
- Mirror, mirror is a space where visitos can experiment with their reflection, their voice, and their image. What would it be like to become a fairytale character? What if imagination could change our appearance’.
- The World of Shadows is an interactive theater where shadows twist, play, and change shape. Here, children will discover that emotions are fleeting, that we all have a dark side, and that accepting it is part of personal growth.
- A Thousand and One Perspectives asks questions like: Is the sky always blue? Is snow always cold? These questions challenge out assumptions and show that perception depends on our point of view. In this space, visitors will learn that not all living beings see the worls as we do and that our perception is shaped by our own perspective.
- The fair is a fun and exciting conclusion to the journey, where science becomes a spectacle. Matter transforms before the visitors’ eyes in a magical atmosphere, full of surprises and discoveries.
.
Did you know…?
🧠 Children’s brain are highly plastic, allowing them to learn and adapt more easily.
🐛 Not all living beings undergo metamorphosis. Frogs do, but mice don’t; bees do, but sparrows don’t.
⚗️ Alchemists dreamed for centuries of turning lead into gold. While this transformation is possible, it is technically very complex and consumes so much enegy that it loses its appeal.
