PANEL DISCUSSION: “UNDER ONE SKY: PLANNING, SHOOTING, AND PROTECTING THE STARS’ GLOW”

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències invites you to a unique experience to discover the beauty of the starry sky, as part of the Science Today Lecture Series. Join us on September 12 for a special evening dedicated to astrophotography and the awe-inspiring wonder of the universe.

The event kicks off with the roundtable “Under the Same Sky: Plan, Shoot, and Protect the Glow of the Stars”, where renowned experts will share their insights and experiences on the essential pillars of astronomical photography: planning night sessions and using photographic equipment.

From digital tools accessible to any amateur to practical tips on cameras and lenses, this open discussion will explore the main technical and creative challenges of capturing the magic of the cosmos. The conversation will also reflect on the importance of preserving the night sky as a natural heritage and a source of inspiration.

The evening will continue with the awards ceremony of the second edition of the ASTROCIUTAT competition, followed by a visit to the exhibition “ASTROCIUTAT. The Universe in Images”, where you’ll have the chance to admire the stunning winning and finalist photographs from this international contest.

An unmissable event for photography lovers, astronomy enthusiasts, and all who feel a connection to the universe.
