LOS GUARDIANES DE LA CIENCIA

The Museu de les Ciències is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and we’re marking it in style. As part of the 25th Annual Meeting of the Association of Science and Technology Museums and Centers of Spain (AMUCYTE), we are opening our doors to an event where the passion for science will take center stage.

Three of the most influential science communicators at the national and international level will gather in our auditorium to share their experiences, perspectives, and the essential role of science communication today. This is an event that promises to be as inspiring as it is entertaining, with space for reflection, audience questions, and social media interaction.

• • Sandra Ortonobes (La Hiperactina) – Biomedical scientist and science communicator who has captivated millions of followers with her fresh, fun, and rigorous approach to explaining science and health.
  • José Luis Crespo (Quantum Fracture) – Physicist and creator of the most influential Spanish-language YouTube science channel, with animations that make the universe accessible and fascinating.
  • Dr. Javier Santaolalla – Engineer, particle physicist at CERN, and one of the most charismatic science communicators in Spanish, author, international speaker, and creator of unique experiences blending knowledge, humor, and creativity.

The session will be moderated by Natalia Ruiz Zelmanovitch, expert in science communication, who will guide us skillfully to make the activity as dynamic as it is enriching.

  • 6:00 PM – Welcome and presentation of the 25th AMUCYTE Meeting

  • 6:30 PM– Start of the Guardians of Science conference

  • 8:30 PM– Closing of the event
