WHAT KILLED THE DINOSAURS? AND OTHER SCIENCE STORIES YOU WERE TOLD WRONG
If you think a meteorite was solely responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs, you might be in for a surprise… What if it was volcanoes?
Join us on a fascinating journey through the history of scientific discovery with Bernard J.T. Jones, Professor Emeritus at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute (The Netherlands), and Vicent J. Martínez, Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Valencia. Together, we will explore how science evolves, challenging long-held beliefs and overturning old dogmas.
From the disappearance of the dinosaurs to the latest advances in dark matter and black holes, we will see how scientific thought continues to reshape our understanding of the universe.
