SCHOOL CONTEST: CHRISTMAS DRAWING

Christmas Drawing Contest “Christmas at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències”

The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències invites all Primary schools in the Valencian Community to take part in its traditional Christmas Drawing Contest. Under the theme “Christmas at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències”, we want the youngest students to unleash their creativity and show us, with colors and imagination, how they picture Christmas in our complex.

Drawings must be made on A4-sized paper or cardboard. All kinds of materials may be used, provided that they are flat (no reliefs) and do not contain plastic elements (such as glitter, sprays, or non-water-based solvents). Entries must be sent by post to the Museu de les Ciències (Marketing and Advertising Department, Av. del Professor López Piñero, 7, 46013 València) before Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Participation is open to all Primary school students in the Valencian Community, who may enter in two ways:

• By class or group, coordinated by a teacher.

• Individually, submitting the drawing with personal details, grade, and school written on the back.

A jury from the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències will select three winning drawings from each educational cycle (1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, 5th & 6th grades). Each winner will receive tickets for visiting the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. In addition, one illustration will be chosen from among the nine winners to become the official Christmas postcard of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.

The results will be announced on Monday, December 15, 2025, on the website www.cac.es and on our official social media channels. The awards ceremony will take place at the Christmas Market of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, located on the Umbracle bus promenade (date to be confirmed)

By participating, students and schools accept the contest rules and authorize the publication of the selected works on the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències’ channels and media. Drawings will not be returned, and winners must sign the image rights release form on the day of the award ceremony.

This is a unique opportunity for children to become the stars of Christmas and share their creative vision. We look forward to your drawings!

Who can participate: Primary school students in the Valencian Community (by class/group or individually)
Prizes: tickets for the Museu de les Ciències, Hemisfèric and Oceanogràfic + selection as the official Christmas postcard
