THE CHALLENGE VDS 2025

The Challenge VDS2025 is a team-based hackathon organized by Startup Valencia in collaboration with the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, HP, the Ministry of Innovation, Valencia Innovation Capital, and VDS. For the second consecutive year, the Museu de les Ciències highlights the importance of supporting scientific research and development in Spain. This event brings together top tech talent to tackle real innovation and cybersecurity challenges, offering participants the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and present creative solutions to current problems.

The main goal of The Challenge is to promote an innovative culture among students and university professionals, allowing them to develop their technical and teamwork skills. Additionally, participants will have access to specialized training, learn about current hiring trends, and establish connections with companies looking for new talent.

The competition is open to students and professionals from any university, with no age limit or prior experience required. Selected participants will join multidisciplinary teams to create prototypes and innovative solutions, facing cybersecurity and innovation challenges presented by leading companies such as Flywire, Internxt, ByteHide Solutions, MAPRE, and HP.

The hackathon will take place on October 14 at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, where teams will work intensively for 12 hours applying Lean Startup methodologies to design prototypes and innovative solutions, supported by expert mentors. The final and award ceremony will take place on October 23 at Valencia Digital Summit 2025, in a space where teams will present their projects to leading companies and a panel of specialized judges.
